Black Widow Spider

Name: Black Widow (Latrodectus Theridiidae)

Class: Arachnida

Order: Areneae

Family:  Theridiidae

Location Found: Freedom Park, Charlotte. Tennis Courts

Behavior when Found: When I was in practice today I saw a black spot walking across the court.  I ran get my phone to take a picture of the black widow. I feel very lucky I got find this.  I took a dorsal picture, and then we turn it around to to spot the the red hour glass to confirm that was a black widow spider.  When we tried to turn it around it got very agressive and very quickly it shoot some spider web to stick to the racket.  I was very happy and a bit scared.
